The Adventures of a Brave Little Mouse

In the morning we wake up bright,
We get ready to go to school, what a sight!
Our bags packed with books galore,
And off we go to learn and explore.

First stop is the classroom, where we sit and learn,
Reading, writing, and arithmetic, oh what a turn!
But soon enough, it's time for recess,
Out to the playground, we'll do our best.

We'll swing, slide, and climb to the top,
Run around and not want to stop.
But when the bell rings, we head back inside,
To the library, where books reside.

We'll choose a tale, a mystery or two,
Find a quiet corner, and read it through.
Then it's off to the lunchroom, to fill our tummies,
With sandwiches, fruit, and sweet yummies.

After lunch, it's time for gym class,
We'll play some games, and run around en masse.
We'll jump and skip and dance with glee,
Getting stronger, faster, and more agile, you'll see.

And when the day is almost done,
We'll pack up and head home, oh what fun!
With our minds full of new things we've learned,
We'll be ready to return, when it's our turn.
