The Adventures of the Brave Little Mouse

We are creatures great and small,
With different things that make us stand tall.
Some have feathers, light and bright,
Others have scales, a wondrous sight.

Our skin may be soft or tough,
With spines or fur that's rough.
Hair or feathers, long and thin,
Or a shell to protect us within.

Armor, scales, or even fur,
We all have ways to endure.
Just like you, we each have our own,
Different things that make us known.

So whether feather, skin, or hair,
We all have things that make us rare.
And though we may look quite diverse,
We are all creatures of the universe.

  1. How did the little mouse show courage throughout the story?
  2. Why do you think the other animals were scared to leave the cave?
  3. What could have happened if the little mouse hadn't been brave and helped his friends escape?
  4. How did the little mouse's size make a difference in the story?
  5. Have you ever had to be brave like the little mouse? Can you tell us about it?
