Finding Joy in Small Things

Sometimes life can be quite strange,
And make you feel a little strange,
But if you just take a look around,
There are wonders to be found.

Take your hand and grab a pencil,
Draw a boat that's nice and simple,
Add a spider, crawling around,
And a banana, yellow and round.

When things don't go quite right,
And you're feeling down, so tight,
Just pick up the telephone and dial,
And soon you'll find a friend to make you smile.

There's no need to frown and pout,
When you can turn things inside out,
With a smile and a little cheer,
You can chase away any fear.

So remember always, my little friend,
There's so much love around the bend,
And even when things are tough,
You'll find the strength, and that's enough.
