The Secret Garden

In school we learn so many things,
From science to math and the songs we sing,
We read our books and we play outside,
At recess time we let our spirits glide.

We learn about the world around,
With science experiments that astound,
We add and subtract, count and divide,
Math helps us solve problems, side by side.

We sing and dance to music sweet,
We tap our feet and move our feet,
We learn new notes and play new chords,
Music fills our hearts and lifts our moods.

And when it's time to take a break,
We head outside for fun and games,
We run and jump, swing and slide,
Recess time is where we all collide.

School is where we grow and learn,
A place of knowledge, a place to yearn,
To explore the world in every way,
And find our place in life someday.
