The Circle of Life

A little bird sat on a branch up high,
Looking for something to catch his eye.
He looked down and what did he see?
A wriggling worm, just right for tea!

The bird swooped down, his beak open wide,
And gobbled up the worm, so quick inside.
But don't be sad for that little worm,
For he'll become food for a plant to germe.

The plant will grow tall, with leaves so green,
A cozy home for an animal to be seen.
A tiny bug, a busy bee,
Or a caterpillar, crawling free.

And as the plant continues to grow,
A beautiful flower it will soon show.
With petals soft and colors bright,
It's a lovely sight, such a delight.

So, you see, it's all a part of the plan,
From the bird to the worm to the plant and man.
The world around us is a beautiful thing,
Full of life and wonder, waiting to bring.
