The Adventures of the Log-Lifting Kids and Their Dog

In the morning light so bright,
A heavy log we'll lift with might,
And with a stick we'll gently rock,
Our furry friend, our loyal dog.

We'll play and run, we'll have some fun,
Our dog will bark and chase the sun.
We'll throw a stick, he'll fetch it back,
With happy wags and tail that wag.

We'll build a fort with sticks and rocks,
A secret hideout no one can unlock.
We'll sit inside and tell some jokes,
And dream of adventures with pirate folks.

But now it's time to say goodnight,
Our doggy friend will stay in sight.
We'll lift our log, and head back home,
To dream of treasures and places unknown.
