A Day on the Farm

On the farm so big and bright,
There's a barn that's quite a sight.
It's red and tall and filled with hay,
Where cows and horses come to play.

The farmhouse sits atop a hill,
With a pond nearby, so calm and still.
The fields stretch far and wide,
Where crops are grown with love and pride.

Sometimes it rains and the ground turns to mud,
But the farmer never gives up, he's tough as a stud.
He works all day, from sun to sun,
Until the day is finally done.

At night, when the stars are out to play,
The farm is peaceful in every way.
The barn, the house, the pond, the field,
All rest quietly, with not a peep revealed.

And when the sun rises once again,
The farmer will start his day with a grin.
He knows he's blessed with all he needs,
And the farm will grow, just like the seeds.
