The Clever Fox and the Honey Pot

Once upon a time in a forest so wide,
Lived a fox with fur so sleek and sly.
He searched for honey day and night,
In a big, shiny pot that was quite a sight.

But the pot was guarded by a bear,
A big, burly creature with a fearsome glare.
The fox knew he couldn't get the pot alone,
He needed help to bring the honey home.

So he went to his mother and father dear,
And asked for their help with a hope and cheer.
Together they came up with a clever plan,
To get the honey and escape from the bear's land.

They distracted the bear with a game of tag,
While the fox got the honey, not a single snag.
They all ran home, filled with glee,
And enjoyed the sweet honey, as happy as can be.

The moral of this story, for young and old,
Is that with help from loved ones, any task can unfold.
So remember to always ask for a hand,
From mother, father, or any friend in your land.

  2. Why do you think the bear was guarding the honey pot, and how did the fox and his family outsmart him?
  3. How did the fox's mother and father help him, and why was it important for him to ask for their help?
  4. What did the fox and his family learn from this experience, and how can you apply this lesson in your own life?
  5. Can you think of a time when you needed help with something, and who did you ask for assistance?
