Once upon a pond so green,
An egg was laid, barely seen.
It hatched into a tadpole small,
With a tail so long, it could crawl.

It swam around, ate and played,
And grew and grew day by day.
Its tail got smaller, its legs grew,
And before it knew, a froglet it became too.

With a hop, a jump, and a splash,
It explored the pond with a dash.
No longer a tadpole, but a frog,
It lived happily on a log.

From an egg to a grown-up frog,
Its journey was long, but not a slog.
It learned to swim, jump, and catch prey,
And sang its croak at night and day.

So let us all learn from the frog,
And grow and change, just like its log.
From small to big, from weak to strong,
We can all do it, no matter how long.
