Come little children, gather around
A story of Easter eggs to be found
Out in the garden, so fresh and green
With a rake in hand, let's start this scene

We'll search for eggs of every hue
Blue, pink, yellow, and green too
Some hidden high, some hidden low
Behind the bushes, we'll go, go, go!

With our baskets ready, we'll begin
To find the eggs that hide within
Some will be easy, some will be tough
But we'll never give up, that's enough

After the hunt, it's time to play
On the swing, we'll laugh and sway
And when we're done, we'll take a break
And sit by the pot, some tea to make

So come, little children, let's have some fun
On this Easter day, we'll be everyone
Raking, finding, swinging, and more
A day full of joy, we'll adore!
