Read together
Come along kids, it's time to play,
In the garden on this lovely day.
Grab a rake and clear the leaves,
Make a pile as big as trees!
Take a shovel, dig a hole,
Make it deep and nice and whole.
Then grab a pen and write a note,
Plant it deep and watch it float.
Now it's time to pound the earth,
Make it nice and firm for all its worth.
Then pick up a basket, come on let's go,
Carry our tools and watch the flowers grow.
We've cut and raked and dug and wrote,
Pounded and carried, let's take a vote.
What's the best thing we did today?
Gardening fun in every way!
Talk about it
