A country is more than a flag. Notice its region, find its capital, compare its numbers, and draw a line between one place and another. You can make the trip in any order.

    Collect a regional stamp

    Choose one of six regions and open a country profile. Find the capital, then keep one detail that surprised you.

    Follow the capital clue

    Use the capital as your first landmark. Say it aloud, write it down, and imagine the route a letter would take to get there.

    Compare the crowd

    Put two reviewed population numbers side by side. Bigger is not better; it is just a new way to ask a question.

    Draw the route home
